| Okay, so I've tried searching and didnt find the answer Im looking for. And, this is going to be a difficult question because I dont really even know what it is I have but..here goes. I was given a big brake kit from a friend years ago. All I know, is that the rotors are bigger 12" 13? And the calipers are bigger, 4 piston, Nissan calipers. I have a 1990 NA, so these are bigger. Had to have a bunch of brackets put in to make them fit. I had 19x8.5 Stern ST-2 rims on my car, and the mechanic told me they wont clear the caliper, which is fine because I was going to buy some 18's anyway, but now I HAVE to buy them ASAP to get it out of his shop. I'm going staggered. I want 18x9.5 rear +40 (right?) What do I need in front to clear the caliper if I go 18x8 or 18x8.5 ? Does the offset even matter or is it just depending on wheel design ? Thanks
